As part of this year’s Thames River Festival we ran a river making workshop at the Knee High Project Play Space. We invited families to make fish and river creatures and add them to our imaginary river.
As part our Knee High Project research we heard about families who had never seen the river Thames. With the Knee High Design Challenge we want to help in the making and development of ideas that will radically change the life chances for children in their early years and beyond.
This might include helping families to get out of their house and building up their networks of support. This might even involve giving more parents the opportunity to share their stresses and anxieties, and develop their self-esteem and confidence.
We need new ideas that will really make a difference. What would you create?
